Summer of 1984, Schmalenstedt, the Baltic. Admittedly, it took the punk movement some time to reach this godforsaken place, but when it did, it certainly didn’t go unnoticed by 17-year-old Malte (a.k.a. Roddy Dangerblood) and his mates, who promptly decide to form a band. Who knows, it might even help them get laid. Naturally, the fact that none of them, apart from Roddy, knows how to even hold a musical instrument is a minor detail. Based on the novel by Rocko Schamoni and filled with 80s landmark hits, ?Dorfpunks? is a nostalgic piece about the best years of our lives.
