The Scriptwriter's Shadowboxing

How does a writing workshop work? This documentary follows 25 filmmakers and their instructors in their efforts to find the different tools a story needs in order to become a film script. Privileges, joys and woes of a group of people who have chosen the nebulous act of narrating as their profession, scriptwriters and directors who to this day insist on practicing the ancient art of the storyteller. The film also follow Lewis Cole, who, despite the fact he was suffering from ALS, chose to spend his last summer teaching scriptwriting at the Mediterranean Film Institute workshops in Nisiros.
