An orphaned young man, who has found refuge in a religious group in modern-day Hamburg, discovers the father he never had in the face of a seemingly quiet family man, who will deliver him – albeit temporarily – from a life of aimless wandering.
As he will soon realize in the most traumatic way possible, he’s destined to play the martyr in a series of inhuman tortures inflicted by his sadistic host. The father figure tries to bend the kid’s unshakable religious belief and drive him over the edge.
