The Limousine

"The Limousine" magically defies geographical boundaries, genre and time constraints, a true product of Panayotopoulos’ idiosyncratic universe.

Markos, Collete and Max set out on a road trip from 60s Paris all the way to contemporary Greece. Through a series of encounters with real and imaginary people, they transition from carefree youth into maturity.

“The Limousine” magically defies geographical boundaries, genre and time constraints, a true product of Panayotopoulos’ idiosyncratic universe. The idea, which leaped out at him from a collection of short stories he received from a friend living in Paris, faithfully allowed the mood and the schedule of the filmmaker. As demonstrated by the quirky title, it’s a situation comedy, a modern-day fairy tale about coming of age.

“The Limousine” is an improvisational movie, full of half-finished thoughts, a game of paradox and a provocative plot device. Nikos Kouris is reunited with his favorite director, while popular Greek singer Doukissa Nomikou makes her first appearance on the big screen.

    All is Lost

Can a film with a cast of one, very little dialogue and the endless blue sea as its sole location keep you nailed to your seat for one hour and 45 minutes? The answer is yes, if it's directed by J.C. Chandor.
