Blind

Having recently lost her sight, Ingrid retreats to the safety of her home. While Morten is away, she usually sits by the window or listens to the radio or whatever else is going on around her, feeling her husband's presence watching her, when he's supposed to be at work.

Having recently lost her sight, Ingrid retreats to the safety of her home. While Morten is away, she usually sits by the window or listens to the radio or whatever else is going on around her, feeling her husband's presence watching her, when he's supposed to be at work.

At the same time, from the apartment across the street, a timid interest is looking for a way to express itself, something Ingrid can sense from afar, mysteriously connected to her two suitors. But Ingrid's thoughts are dominated by her deepest fears and repressed fantasies soon take over.

In his first feature, Norwegian screenwriter Eskil Vogt puts his established working relationship with filmmaker Joachim Trier aside ("Reprise", "Oslo, 31. August"), in order to capture a universe of sensations and allusions that's all his own.

"Blind" beckons audiences to enter the leading lady's subjective world, talking about the loss of a sense that is paramount for the art of filmmaking. N.S.
