It Follows

A half-naked girl runs out of her house screaming at the top of her lungs, trying to escape a mortal danger only she can see, as he parents look on, perplexed. Her panic drives her all the way to the beach, where she leaves a note before her mangled body is discovered sometime later.

This eerie prelude lands us right in the middle of this film's bizarre universe, where a sexually transmitted supernatural menace haunts its victims day and night, unseen by anyone but the victim. Jay takes on this invisible force with the help of her best friends, trying to escape her terrible fate.
