A local community stands helplessly by as the local youth are driven to suicide. The incredible yet true tragedy that still shrouds the Welsh town of Bridgend in a veil of mystery is reconstructed in a savagely poetic thriller about dead-end adolescence.

The Welsh community of Bridgend is standing helplessly by as, one by one, the local youth are driven to suicide. That's when police inspector Dave arrives on the scene looking for answers for this inexplicably escalating tragedy. But he's not alone. His daughter Sarah is with him, quickly ingratiating herself with the local teenagers, who seem to have developed a strange ritual in order pay their respects to their deceased friends' memory... In his directorial debut, Jeppe Ronde reconstructs the veil of mystery that still shrouds the Welsh town of Brid- gend that made headlines for counting 79 suicide victims among local youths since 2007. The rookie filmmaker handles the absolute existential and social deadlock that can drive people to suicide with surprising mastery, weaving an almost metaphysical horror story.
