Going from "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" to the Armenian issue, Marseilles-born Robert Guédiguian takes us back to 1981 Paris. Aram, a young man of Armenian origin, blows up the Turkish ambassador's car seriously wounding Gilles, a passing cyclist. The perpetrator escapes to Beirut and joins the Armenian Liberation Army, while Gilles travels to Marseilles looking for him and his family. The parallel stories unfold in a truly insightful political drama about the Armenian struggle, screening in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
