Big photography contest with a 650-euro Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 camera as its prize!
The Athens International Film Festival Opening Nights COSMOTE offers, for yet another year, young photographers the chance to prove the sparkle of their glance and their bold disposition by capturing the Festival’s ambience with their camera. Photography students of public or private photography schools in Greece and abroad, who are passionate about cinema and photography, are invited to submit an application in order to join the photography team which will portray, in images, this year’s, 18th Athens International Film Festival Opening Nights COSMOTE. The team, which will result after a selection process and which will be supervised by a festival staff member, will be asked to capture some of the best moments of the Festival, after obtaining a special accreditation which will allow entrance to all the festival areas and events, such as the official opening night, screenings, press conferences, parties, awarding of prizes, arrivals of special guests, meals with the visiting talent, as well as all the backstage happenings.
During the Festival (19-30/9/2012) the best photographs of the day will be displayed on the walls of the Toy Café, while the members of the photography team will automatically participate in a photography contest which is organized with the significant contribution of Sony Hellas and has as its prize a brand new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 camera worth 650 Euros, also offered by Sony Hellas.
