Playing For Change : Peace Through Music
Can music really change the world? Directors Mark Johnson and Jonathan Walls believe that it can. To prove it, they embark on a musical race across the glove bringing together musicians of different styles and traditions, including Westerners, native American Indians, Tibetan refugees in the Himalayas and South Africans, and, suddenly, the film’s seemingly idealistic premise becomes plausible. Boasting impeccable production values ?as well as one of the best soundtracks in recent memory- Playing for Change ? Peace Through Music is a fascinating documentary about mankind’s most truly universal means of expression: music.
