"V/H/S", the anthology thriller that haunted festivals across America, is a compilation of prime fright courtesy of the new generation of indie horror helmers across the Atlantic. The tale slowly unfolds when a stranger hires a gang to break into a deserted country home in order to retrieve a VHS tape. This seemingly easy mission starts getting complicated when the burglars realize the house isn’t exactly empty. And it gets worse: the VHS they’re looking for is among hundreds of home video tapes piled high in each and every room. When their curiosity prompts them to watch some, they will stumble upon real-life horror, secret cults, ghosts and pools of blood that will change their lives forever. Capitalizing on the found footage aesthetic, "V/H/S" is ideal for late night frightfests but, most importantly, it’s a film that will make you think twice before you decide to commit your private moments to tape.
