Most higher education institutions are taken over by students as the government is adamant about the privatization of state-run universities. Protest marches abound and torched cars, bloody noses, police violence and trashed police stations are the order of the day. Meanwhile, a love story blossoms amidst the political and social unrest: A young hooligan falls in love with a charming young student, who happens to be an anti-establishment activist, and even joins the anarchist factions to get her attention. Things start off on the wrong foot when the girl refuses to succumb to his affections but he’s not to be dissuaded so easily. Convinced he deserves a place in her heart, he does the only thing he knows how: he clashes with the riot police. Trapped between her indifference and the escalating violence of the authorities, he goes over the edge at the risk of his own life.
