Sharknado

The ingeniously stupid idea behind ?Sharknado? is best illustrated in the title: a tornado swallows up sharks from the Pacific Ocean and spews them out over Los Angeles.

The ingeniously stupid idea behind “Sharknado” is best illustrated in the title: a tornado swallows up sharks from the Pacific Ocean and spews them out over Los Angeles. One man will realize the extend of the danger and try to save his estranged wife and their son. The increasingly outrageous ways the sharks wreak havoc can only compete with the unfathomable weapons the locals devise to fight back, which naturally include bombs, helicopters and chainsaws.

A shameless cult splatter, “Sharknado” set Twitter on fire when it premiered on American television, as audiences couldn’t believe their eyes – or the film’s absurdity for that matter! The next best thing to brain dead disaster movies from the 70s that bred generations upon generations of of bad movie lovers, “Sharknado” is the ultimate guilty pleasure of the naughties. Ch.L.
