From the Earth to the Moon

The first Greek full-length animated film has been created using collage, an allusion to high art, based on Jules Vernes’ book of the same name.

In 1869 America, the bellicose bemoan their fates now that the federal war is over and they have all fallen into inertia. They reminisce about the good old days and feel uncomfortable with all the funeral attire hanging in their closets gathering dust, as the cotton grows back on the fields, according to Jules Verne!

At that exact moment, the president of the Gun Club, Impey Barbicane, offers a solution: he announces his intention of firing a cannonball into the Moon, an act that constitutes the first substantial contact man has ever had with Earth’s only natural satellite, that will bring untold glory upon the 36 United States of America.

    All is Lost

Can a film with a cast of one, very little dialogue and the endless blue sea as its sole location keep you nailed to your seat for one hour and 45 minutes? The answer is yes, if it's directed by J.C. Chandor.
