At the crack of dawn of January 1st 2009, a 22-year-old black man was killed by an irritable white policeman on an Oakland train station platform during a routine check that led to a shocking act of violence. The story is based on real-life events, stirring up the hot topic of accumulated racist prejudice that still plagues the heart of the United States of America.
