After multiple attempts to run away from school to begin her search, she finds an unexpected ally in Jimena, a dedicated teacher who decides to accompany her on this seemingly futile mission.

In his first narrative feature, Matías Lucchesi traces an emotional journey towards maturity that won the Grand Prix of the Generation Kplus at this year's Berlinale. Simple but far from simplistic, "Natural Sciences" is indelibly marked by Paula Hertzog's disarmingly mature performance in a quiet ode to a young girl's quest to discover her true identity. K.Th.
