Two reckless teenagers befriend a 15-year-old boy and challenge their own limits by doing everything they’re not supposed to do, like smoke pot and look death in the eye. A provocative, skin-crawling observation of the teenage psyche that took this year’s Critics Week by storm.

Adam is in the middle of his unspectacular summer holidays with his parents, in the midst of the rich nature of Ontario. His humdrum routine is ended when he meets Riley and Nate, two cousins who split their time between debauchery and reckless dives from the sky-high rocks of Lake Superior. However, the unveiling of a painful family secret will lead Adam and his new friends towards events which, in the whirlwind of their teenage years, mark a point of no return. Starting off from his short film of the same name, first-time Canadian director Andrew Cividino returns to his childhood memories to deliver a premature coming-of-age story times three, as vulgar, boiling and relentless as the circumstanc- es which co-define it. Limits, adrenaline and an emotional world in turmoil send the central character and his friends hurtling towards their true self, which is waiting for them to arrive -which they will- in the water, having irreversibly jumped from the diving board of their carefree childhood.
