Something funny is going on in Dexter's life. It's not just this new girl at work that's the spitting image of his girlfriend, Stella, but all these traffic tickets that keep coming in, his boss suddenly sending him on leave... Has he just entered the twilight zone? As things keep going from bad to worse, a visit to the hospital makes Dexter realize that it's all in his head- only in a different way that you would normally expect. Froukje Tan directs a witty tragicomedy about a man's journey into the deepest recesses of his soul- or at least, his right brain hemisphere. "Left" screened at the Rotterdam Film Festival.
