Minor Freedoms

SPECIAL PRESENTATION

Rural Greece, the present. An authoritative father pimps his underage drug-addict daughter. When her younger brother realizes that the same fate is in store for him, he decides to rebel against the unwritten law of patriarchy. Set against an oppressive landscape, Kostas Zapas records a censored, deviant Greece, where Iphigenia is still sacrificed every day and where the wrath of ancient gods is still the law, tempered only by small acts of defiance, minor liberties.
