Swedish suburbia, the present. A man leaves for work, covered in blood. After a while, he returns home, resolved not to work anymore, only to find his wife butchered and his son on his death throes. He takes him to the hospital, hands him over to the medical staff and vanishes. Jesper Gansland’s second film is a disturbing descent into madness, all taking place in the course of 24 hours. The film was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival.
