Miracle Mile

A sunny, romantic comedy is suddenly transformed into one the most savage films on nuclear destruction ever made, when the leading man answers the phone at a random telephone booth 10 minutes in, only to find out from the voice of an unknown soldier that a nuclear bomb will destroy Los Angeles in less than an hour.

Having spent 10 years of his life protecting his script from studio interventions, Steve De Jarnatt saw the critics stand by his side recognizing the valor in his impressive screenwriting maneuvers between the two genres. With Anthony Edwards and Mare Winningham in the lead roles and the incredible German band Tangerine Dream contributing the music, "Miracle Mile" is De Jarnatt's undisputed masterpiece and the last film he ever made. The Boy
