Happy, Happy

In Kaja’s world, family is the most important thing in the world. She always remains optimistic, although her husband prefers going hunting with his friends than having sex with her. However, when the perfect couple moves in next door, Kaja won’t be able to hold back her repressed feelings, which will dangerously complicate matters. Anne Sewitsky’s debut took home the World Cinema prize at Sundance, winning audience and critics over with its fresh approach to the worn-out theme of infidelity. In “Happy Happy”, the Norwegian director mixes on her canvas the light and bright colours of humour with the dark mood of the complex love relationships in a mature exploration of the tough world of adult life.
