54 school girls commit mass suicide by jumping on the tracks of a busy Tokyo train station. But this was just the beginning. Soon a wave of inexplicable suicides sweeps over Japan. In the absence of any plausible explanation or link between them, all the police have to go by are two rolls with hundreds of pieces of human skin joined together. At the same time, a girl whose boyfriend fell victim to the suicide fever is also trying to work out the pieces of the puzzle on her own.
