A love story between an Israeli and a Palestinian, who despite racist behaviors and wartime conflict, choose to live together, cut off from the harsh reality that surrounds them. A daring romantic comedy that puts a different perspective on a taboo subject. Filmmaker in attendance

Noam, a young Israeli soldier, falls in love with a young Palestinian man called Ashraf he meets at a check point. Ashraf shows up at his doorstep in Tel Aviv, at the apartment Noam shares with his friend Lulu, who’s just had her heart broken, and Yali, who’s in a dysfunctional relationship. While their coexistence leads to friendship and the common goal to put their life back on track, their social environment, narrow-minded and cruel, claims they all live in a bubble, cut off from contemporary reality. The bubble. That’s what the Israelis like to call Tel Aviv, in an attempt to describe the lifestyle of the young and the restless. They spend their lives going out and hanging around, unaware of the turmoil the rest of the country’s going through. Fox bravely adapts this contrast to a contemporary romantic comedy, with a naughty edge.
