The beautiful and rebellious Daphne is arrested for theft and is led to a juvenile prison, where she meets and falls in love with Josh. Is their love strong enough to take down the surrounding bars and the four walls separating them? Straight from the Director’s Fortnight of the Cannes Film Festival, a tender, rousing film which, although hailing from Italy, could have been made by Francois Truffaut.

Teenage Daphne spends her days in the company of a gang of youths who steal cell phones from subway passengers. When she is arrested in the act, she is put in a juvenile prison, where she develops a friendship with a fellow inmate and meets Josh, with whom she falls in love. Since communication between male and female inmates is forbidden, Daphne and Josh have to make do with furtive glances and secret notes. Will their love withstand prison? Can they stand the wait until their release? Fiore means "flower" in Italian. A love that blooms against all odds is at the center of Italian director Claudio Giovannesi’s tender, stirring film, which introduces the photogenic new face of talented actress Daphne Scoccia.
