Something magical happens in an uncharted little island somewhere in the Aegean sea. A French Member of the European Parliament and a young female economist arrive at idyllic Armenaki and get to know a weird way of life and the locals’ subversive beliefs. They meet a quirky teacher and a voluptuous widow, and surrender themselves to the vortex of love and the mesmerizing land, which can change people’s lives forever.
With a title out of Akis Panou’s lyrics, the director who has captured the Dionysian Greek summer returns with a sunny comedy filled with popular wisdom and the salty sense of an imaginary island where nobody knew how to cry; they only knew how to philosophize, have fun and passionately love life.
