Rescheduling of the "On the Road" and "Una Noche" repeat screenings

Due to unexpected technical difficulties, the repeat screening of “On the Road”, scheduled for Sunday 30/9 at 18:00 at Odeon Opera 2, will be transferred to 21:30 at Odeon Opera 1. Consequently, the “Una Noche” screening, scheduled for 30/9 at 22:45 at Odeon Opera 1, will be postponed to 23:45 at the same cinema.

The problem occurred when the film’s production company had to switch the screening format for the print they are sending to the festival. The 35 mm print which was arranged to be used, showed some unexpected problems prior to its dispatch and the company had to send a DCP file (Digital Cinema Package). Unfortunately the Odeon Opera 2 cinema doesn’t support digital screenings so, in order to avoid the cancellation of the sold-out show, we had to move it to the Odeon Opera 1 screen. This switch came about just today and the festival had no way of knowing beforehand that its deal with the film company would shift. Naturally, this imposes a change for the screening time of the film that was supposed to be screened next. (“Una Noche”).

Anyone who wishes can either exchange their ticket with one for any other film that Odeon Opera will screen or with a pass for any other film at the festival. The Festival wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused and we are available for any clarifications you may need.

Please note that there will be no extra tickets for “On the Road” despite the change of venue.
