The Tiger Man - Bagh Bahadur

Ghunuram’s humdrum life has only one highlight: dancing the traditional tiger dance at the annual village fair. But when a band of traveling performers arrive threatening to steal the show, Ghunuram refuses to step aside gracefully and gets ready to fight tooth and nail for his dignity, the woman he loves and the life he feels is stolen away from him. Lyrical and melancholy, The Tiger Man is a moving allegory about art, our changing times and our timeless values. The film received the Special Jury Prize for Best Director at the Istanbul Film Festival.
