Tekkonkinkreet - Tekon kinkurîto

A pun on the Japanese words for ?concrete?, ?steel? and ?muscle?, Tekkonkinkreet is how the creators of this action-packed, fast-paced anime envisage the urban landscape of the future. Two brothers, Black and White, roam the streets of the ramshackle Treasure Town striving to survive. They may posses the magic powers to counter all enemies, but all they want is to somehow find a place to belong in the madness of the metropolitan jungle. Combining traditional anime techniques with state-of-the-art 3D technologies, Tekkonkinkreet is at once an urban fairy-tale and a frenzied action anime that will not fail to please fans of the genre. The film was presented in Berlin Film Festival.
