Cleverly promoted as an animated band, it didn’t take more than two albums for Damon Albarn’s Gorillaz to conquer the charts and prove that they’re so much more than an advertising gimmick. Ceri Levy’s hip, behind the scenes documentary follows the band’s history from the very beginning, when they were just a couple of paper and ink drawings at some studio, through their tours and collaborations, all the way to the top.
