Welcome to the wider Naples region, stomping ground of the infamous Camorra, a loosely-structured organization of crime families operating in the Campania region. Based on the eponymous best seller by Italian journalist Roberto Saviano (who has lived under police protection ever since its publication), Mateo Garrone’s new film revolves around the Camorra’s impact on the lives of six ordinary citizens.
