Working on a farm in the Basque country and having a social circle that mainly consists of his sister and his mother who refuses to speak Spanish, Ander isn't exactly living in the fast lane. But his humdrum existence turns around, when an accident confines him to his bed and brings Peruvian immigrant Jose into his life as an all-purpose assistant. When he realizes that what he knew of himself has changed, Ander will need to decide whether he wants his outer reality to change as well.
