INTO ETERNITY

For the first time a camera enters Onkalo-the first factory worldwide where tons of nuclear waste are permanently stored. In Finland, under the earth's surface and in special tanks waste is gathered with the intention to remain there for 100.000 years until it gets inactive. As soon as the special storage areas are filled they will be sealed for ever. How will we inform our descendants of what we left behind? How can we be sure that after thousands of years mankind will understand the symbols and languages we use today? What are the odds of opening the sealed factory thinking it is some sort of ancient treasure or a sacred place?
