HITLER A HOLLYWOOD

Acclaimed actress Maria de Medeiros is making a documentary on Hollywood diva Micheline Presle, when the latter reveals that the film that marked her acting career has mysteriously disappeared. De Medeiros promptly sets out to track it down only to find out that she has bitten more than she can chew. Her investigations lead  her to a wacky conspiracy theory involving Hitler and the US government plotting together to suppress European film production. Starting out on this novel premise, Frédéric Sojcher directs a compelling mockumentary featuring the greatest stars of French cinema. A remarkable journey into the history of cinema as told by the people who wrote it, "Hitler à Hollywood" received the  FIPRESCI Prize at Karlovy Vary.
