ARCADIA LOST

Charlotte and Sye follow their recently married parents to the Pelopennese for their honeymoon, but find themselves alone in a foreign land after a tragic car crash. Aloof and quiet, the 16-year-old Charlotte experiences the first sparks of her budding sexuality, while the intelligent and soft-spoken Sye prefers to distance himself from reality. During their wanderings, they come across vagabond philosopher Benerji (played by Nick Nolte) Joining him, they embark on a journey that will force them to face the realities of the past, as well as the promising but intimidating present. In his third feature film as director, critically acclaimed director of photography Phedon Papamichael, returns to his ancestral land with a meditative coming-of-age tale.
