Terri
15-year-old Terri, overweight and slightly depressive, goes to school in his pyjamas, doesn’t have any friends and shows up for weekly sessions with the school counselor. Since he’s not the only one with this obligation, while there, he meets two other misfits, with whom he strikes up an unexpected friendship. A sweet study of the agony of the marginalized teenager, by the up-and-coming talent of the American cinema, Azazel Jacobs. Newcomer Jacob Wysocki and the always wonderful John C. Reilly spread plenty of smiles, evoking sympathy just as easily as constant laughter. A coming-of-age film that doesn’t shy away from uncomfortable places, as it reminds the audience that the teenage years are a time of anguish.
