Herbert West is a Swiss science student who, along with his now deceased professor, has come up with a formula to revitalize dead tissue. Needless to say, his morbid preoccupation with corpses doesn't make him very popular at the Miskatonic University where he transfers, but Herbert perseveres with his experiments in raising the dead and rise they do - with a vengeance. A rather loose adaptation of a short story by the horror grandmaster H.P. Lovecraft, ?Re-Animator? revitalized the genre by offering generous doses of ‘young blood’.
