Akylas, a lonely retiree, savors the final days of summer. From the comfort of his yard, he hears the summer bustle, one he has long come to resent. Nothing disturbs his quietness except the relentless song of the cicadas, which he constantly tries to silence with blasts of water. As the weather shifts and the rain begins to fall, an unexpected encounter will draw him beyond the boundaries of his yard.

Fearful of the path he has set his son on and the dangers of pursuing one’s passions, Alex is reluctant. As their relationship deteriorates and Luca’s isolation grows, the boy will risk everything to prove himself and make the ultimate dive.
