Willy and Jojo are two teenage friends, inseparable since childhood, who find an escape from the boredom of the French countryside, and the shadow of oppressive or absent fathers, in their passion for motocross racing. As they prepare feverishly for the championship, Jojo's secret life suddenly comes to light, testing their relationship and offering an easy victim at the altar of the conservative small town. Splattered by engine oils and punctuated by bursts of testosterone, Chevrollier' s debut sketches with tenderness and raw ferocity the portrait of a true friendship and the rebelliousness of an adolescence frantically trying to find its way in a world of adults who have not yet settled into their own.
