After the murder of his father, the four-year-old son of a hitman is forced to flee to the countryside to escape the punishing grip of the cartels. As the past karmically recurs, the film follows Sujo through his adolescence and adulthood as he is forced to choose between accepting his family's bloody legacy or rewriting his destiny by breaking the cycle of violence. A surprising take on a familiar theme, it confronts Mexico's cursed generation with optimism and unbridled lyricism.
