Under the roar of fighter planes and the constant threat of bombing, three Ukrainian artists choose to stay in their country and defend it in any way they can, while continuing to create so as not to lose themselves completely. Less a film about the Russian invasion of Ukraine and more a film about the innate human need to persistently seek out nuggets of beauty even in the midst of destruction, "Porcelain War" proves conclusively that it is easy to spread terror among people but extremely difficult to take away their passion for life. Best Documentary Award at the Sundance Film Festival.
