The Black Keys have been a pop anomaly from the start. An anomaly that became a phenomenon somewhere around 2010, when a four-year period began in which rock once again seemed an invincible weapon of youth and impact. Relentless recording and touring made the dream last as long as their stamina, before they returned, perhaps to save their sanity, to their beginnings and their current status of a band that brought rock back to celebrity status, if only for “15 minutes”. Frenetic pacing, sweaty "uncivilized" rock attitude and arena rock stardom, for a film that any fan of the explosive duo can't afford to miss.
