Join the Athens International Film Festival

The Athens International Film Festival returns this year for its 31st edition! Throughout the years, the Festival could not have existed without the invaluable help of its volunteers, people who dedicate their time both before and during the Festival.

If you’ve joined us in the past, we’d be delighted to see you again. For those of you volunteering for the first time, we encourage you to take an active role in this year’s festive edition!

By participating, you’ll have the chance to meet important figures from the film industry and experience the Festival from the inside. All you need is free time and a love for cinema.

We are looking for:
- Venue coordinators
- Press Office assistants (archiving & social media)
- Festival Events Production assistants
- Website Content assistants (www.aiff.gr)
- Guest liaison coordinators for the Festival’s official guests

Requirements: excellent knowledge of English and/or another foreign language, love of cinema, consistency, responsibility, and availability during the Festival (October 1–12) as well as the final days of preparation leading up to it.

Those selected will receive accreditation valid for all Festival venues, get an insider’s look at the magical world of preparing and running one of Greece’s biggest film festivals, and will be given a certificate of participation upon completion.

- a short CV with your age, the foreign languages you speak, any previous volunteer experience at other events, and a phone number.
- your availability during October 1 - 12
- the position(s) you are interested in
