Greek Short Stories Competition Awards

The jury for the Greek Short Stories Competition of the 29th Athens International Film Festival was made up of:

For the 29th edition of AIFF, 40 Greek short stories competed for the following awards:

Golden Athena Award
LIGHT OF LIGHT by Neritan Zinxhiria

The award is accompanied by a prize of 2,000 euros courtesy of the Greek Film Center.

Silver Athena Award
UNORTHODOX by Konstantinos Antonopoulos

Best Director Award
MIDNIGHT SKIN by Manolis Mavris

The awards are accompanied by a prize of 1,500 euros each courtesy of the Greek Film Center and a Premium Member 5-year subscription to the Crew United platform, the leading international networking platform for audiovisual professionals, which is now running in Greece.

Best Screenplay Award
Tom Floyd for the movie KAFKA’S COLLECTION OF PORN by Aristotelis Maragkos

The award is accompanied by a prize of 1,500 euros courtesy of Art Media Lab.

Best Male Performance Award
Karafil Shena for the movie CROSSING by  Aineias Tsamatis and Katerina Mavrogeorgi

The award is accompanied by a Premium Member 5-year subscription to the Crew United platform.

Best Female Performance Award
Sofia Simoni for the movie DAYS OF A LILAC SUMMER, by Ariadni Angeliki Thyfronitou Litou

The award is accompanied by a Premium Member 5-year subscription to the Crew United platform.

ΘΥΜΩΜΕΝΟ ΨΑΡΙ του Κωνσταντίνου Χαλιάσα | ANGRY FISH by Kostas Chaliasas

ONASSIS AWARD
KAFKA’S COLLECTION OF PORN by Aristotelis Maragkos

The award is accompanied by a cash prize of 5,000 euros offered by ONASSIS CULTURE. The amount is offered to a director for the development of the script of their short or feature film.

Note:It is clarified that among the short films that will compete in the GREEK SHORT STORIES of the 29th AIFF, those short films that have received the support of Onassis Culture during their production as well as those that have already received the same award at the Drama Film Festival will be excluded from the Onassis Award
