In a time where animation was strictly done by hand -a laborious business involving a lot of elbow grease- Disney’s ingenious crew managed to achieve a 3-D effect bringing to life a colorful, vibrant universe to contain the famous Grim brothers tale, that has since been synonymous with Disney Pictures. For Snow White’s 70th birthday this year, OPENING NIGHTS have secured a restored copy of the classic animated film that remains as fresh and enchanting as when it was first made.
