Go With Peace Jamil
Jamil, an Arab immigrant living in Denmark, is an ordinary man, striving to make a living and support his family. Jamil is also a cold blooded killer that unwittingly initiates a vicious circle of blood and revenge. A Dane of Arab origin himself, Omar Shargawi, uses his hero as a vehicle to explore the cultural clashes, prejudices and feuds within Arab immigrant communities. Intense, feverish and surprisingly intimate, Go With Peace Jamil received the Tiger Award at the Rotterdam Film Festival
