Peacefire
Colin is a low-life, too busy stealing cars with his gang to care about the political situation in Northern Ireland. But all that changes when, after an encounter with a ruthless cop, he agrees to become an informant for the police, thus making himself target for ex-IRA members, of which his dead father was a member. Torn between loyalty towards his friends, the need to protect his mother and his dead father’s political ideals, Colin will be forced to take responsibility for his actions for the first time in his life. Macdara Vallely casts non-professional actors and real IRA members in a acutely film about the current situation in Northern Ireland.
