Three teenagers reply to a cyber ad for group sex and face a fundamentalist Christian organization. It's led by a ruthless pastor spewing unholy sermons as his victims are tortured and murdered. By chance the case reaches the police and, when a special police unit arrives at the church, the massacre begins. Kevin Smith, once the enfant terrible of American cinema, has grown up and returns with a film that’s not only a delicious horror movie but also a bitterly ironic commentary on the constantly-growing influence hardcore Christian organizations have in the US. A holy war with automatic weapons, assassinations in the name of Christ and plenty food for thought are the ingredients that made Quentin Tarantino exclaim: “I fucking loved this movie!”
