Koffie lives in Belgium with his girlfriend. He is an outcast from his African family, because of a demonic sign in his face. Prior to becoming a father he decides to return so as to reconcile. An epileptic seizure opens the door to the psychedelic feast that follows. Paco is a member of an adolescent gang of cross dressers, dipped in glitter and violence. He and his queer friends dress in pink in a Congo resembling a ‘Mad Max’ filmed during the New Orleans carnival. Chapters of this African anthology seem random but they are all interconnected in a cinematic dimension where the screenplay gives way to legend and the voodoo meets phantasmagoria. D.P.
