A young dance teacher thinks she has found the ideal lover, and partner possibly, in a charming sign language interpreter. But he quickly announces to her that he is asexual. This problematic condition makes things rather hard between them, though they try ceaselessly to make it work, since the match is obvious. And thus commences a bittersweet story of an unusual love story, of a kind new to cinema. The two leading performances share incredible chemistry, the direction showers them with love and compassion, the script proves disarmingly tender, and all result in an utterly romantic film that Lithuania suggests for next year’s International Oscar and Sundance Film Festival hands World Cinema Directing Award.
